Prep more material than you think you'll need — dead air is worse than over-preparing.

Titles are usually given to whoever's already doing the work — if that's you, say so.

Executes the director's calls at the switcher — cutting between cameras, rolling replays, punching in graphics, live, with no do-overs.

Calls a live broadcast from a headset — deciding what goes to air, moment to moment, and keeping the whole crew moving as one unit.

Runs the physical switcher hardware — the hands that execute what the director and TD call.

Marks, trims, and rolls replays during a live broadcast — fast enough that they're still relevant.

Owns game-day coverage from the crew side — who's covering what, and whether the broadcast actually came together.
